Overview
UnaCasePro is a SaaS case management system specifically designed for public health and social services. UnaCasePro solves non-compliant documentation, helps with loss prevention, and improves user productivity.
Objectives
Today’s modern case manager needs a case management platform to help keep them on top of their caseload while not blocking them in their day-to-day activities.
With that in mind, Buena Digital went to work building the platform with four primary objectives:
- Simple, easy-to-use UI that is intuitive to use
- Secure and compliant
- Scalable cloud-based platform
- API to communicate with EMRs and other healthcare systems

Solution
To achieve these objectives, Buena worked closely with SMEs along with its internal team of designers and developers to get continual feedback on our product during the development process. This tight, continual feedback loop ensured we built a more user-friendly system that met each user's specific needs.
UnaCasePro's API allows integration into other healthcare systems, such as EMRs, to ensure data is securely shared to allow healthcare providers insight into client documentation and data in a timely and accurate manner.
Success
Running on Micorosft Azure has allowed UnaCasePro to improve performance and scalability on demand. As traffic increases, UnaCasePro can automatically scale up to meet those needs with pre-determined performance thresholds.
With continual improvements to UnaCasePro based on user feedback and having Microsoft as a key partner, UnaCasePro is situated to meet the needs of case managers now and in the future.
