AVAD.com Site Redesign

With the creation of AVAD's new mobile apps, they knew they would be receiving even more hits to their already popular website. The design and performance of the site did not match the new AVAD 2.0, so they turned to Buena Digital again to revitalize their ailing site.

Situation

Once Buena Digital had successfully created API’s for AVAD’s AV-HD app and their Mobile Dealer App, they didn’t waste any time tackling the next monster project in line: the AVAD.com website. The site was showing its age, and was in desperate need of a redesign. More importantly, it was tied to a legacy system that AVAD wanted to phase out, as it was costing the company thousands of dollars per year to maintain and becoming obsolete. As North America’s premier AV solutions provider, one which promises to consistently deliver cutting edge solutions, having an outdated system was completely unacceptable. AVAD maintains an enormous database of products that their dealers interact with on a daily basis. These dealers expect to see a user friendly, performance-optimized site that allows them to easily browse and order directly from, and that’s where Buena Digital came in.

Solution

Two components needed to be developed for the AVAD site, a public facing side and a separate dealer-only side. To accomplish this, Buena Digital worked with AVAD’s in-house marketing team to design a professional-looking site with a user-friendly interface. Once that was in place, Buena Digital got to work, doing what they do best, creating the foundation to interact with AVAD’s massive MAS 500 ERP.

Success

Not only does the site look amazing, the site itself loads faster than ever before. Dealers can access all of the product data they need to place their orders quickly and more accurately. The public gets to see a polished look that matches the products and services offered. AVAD is no longer saddled with a massive annual fee for maintaining an outdated site, and they have a platform they can build on for years to come.
